● “Call-ahead” bookings require a phone call to the marina. They cannot be booked online. Walk-ins should not expect availability of a boat.
● The Member is solely responsible for any loss or damage to the boat or equipment from the time of check-out until and including the time of check-in. Such responsibility will be up to the deductible amount, if insurance coverage is available for such damage or loss. As an example, this means the Member will be charged for a new propeller if it is damaged after the boat is checked out and before the boat is returned.
● There will be a charge for lost equipment (such as fenders, life jackets, ropes, anchors, skis, cushions, etc).
● Operation of a boat while impaired is strictly prohibited and shall result in the revocation of membership.
● Pre-departure pictures will be taken of the boat by Club staff. Members are welcome to take pictures themselves. These pictures are used to determine if any new damage was done to the boat while it is in the possession of the Member.
● When the boat returns it must be checked back in by Club staff to verify it is returning in the same condition it was in when it left the dock. If the Member leaves before staff is able to check the boat in, then the Member is agreeing that the Club may charge his or her credit card for any fuel charges, and the Member forfeits the right to refute any damage charges that Club staff determines was not pre-existing when the boat left the dock.
● Under no circumstances may a boat be used for any commercial purpose.
